Here is our winner from week 8/8: Matt and some things he shared about himself... *Why do you enjoy being a technologist? I had Leukemia when I was 3 years old. I feel that my experience with Cancer allows me to relate and empathize more with what my Patients and their families are going through. I like being able to give back and provide the same great care that I received when I was going through treatment. *What is your favorite season? I enjoy the Summer for the Lake, Beach, and River Weather!! *What is your favorite animal? Horses, I grew up with having them but ironically, I am actually allergic to them!!
Today signifies the start of PRIDE month across the globe; we want to recognize the many teammates and their families that identify with the LGBTQ+ community! June was chosen as PRIDE month after the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan which is considered the tipping point that jump started the movement to resist harassment and bring equality to the LGBTQ+ community.
