As we celebrate Women’s History Month we wanted to start this email by celebrating one of the most influential women in the history of Radiology! In addition to Marie Curies incredible research and inventions; like many women she helped paved the path to gender equality throughout the globe. Marie Curie: Mother of Modern Physics In her career, Marie won two Nobel Prizes for her groundbreaking research in physics and chemistry and invented then mobile X-Ray Machine which first helped soldiers on the battlefield in World War I. Want to learn more: Marie Curie As a team, we are lucky to have a number of incredible female leaders in each of our departments. This year we have chosen to highlight 6 of those incredible leaders in the attached “About Me” pages.
