Alice comes to Sovos with a passion for building purpose-driven teams and deep experience driving go-to-market growth. Eva Krauss is returning to Sovos as our Chief Transformation Officer. Eva is excited to rejoin a business she believes deeply in, and to work collaboratively across our organization to thoughtfully enable the most critical shifts in our market. The addition of Alice and Eva to the Executive Team means that our Executive Leadership Team is now 50% female. Achieving gender parity in our ELT is vital not only to promote diversity and inclusion, but we know that it will ensure a wide range of perspectives, experiences and insights that drive innovation and well-rounded decision making, ultimately leading to greater business success. With another strategic acquisition, Sovos announces expanded product development center of excellence in Europe October 20, 2021 – Global tax software provider Sovos today announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Digital Planet, which provides cloud compliance solutions for continuous transaction controls (CTCs), including e-invoicing, e-receipts, e-delivery note and e-ledger. Upon completion of this acquisition, Sovos will expand its Istanbul-based product development center of excellence in support of a growing base of channel partners, small-and-medium-sized businesses (SMB), and large enterprise customers in Turkey and across the region. “The acquisition of Digital Planet will strengthen our partner channel and significantly increase our customer base of enterprises and SMBs. As our second acquisition in Turkey, Digital Planet reinforces the Sovos commitment to the local and regional market, as we grow our software development organization in Istanbul,” said Steve Sprague, general manager, global value-added tax, Sovos.

The acquisition brings together two long-standing industry leaders and significantly broadens Sovos’ offerings for small and medium-sized businesses as the tax information reporting landscape undergoes rapid regulatory changes that affect every business operating in the United States.
July 7, 2021 Global tax software provider Sovos today announced it has acquired Portugal-based companies PetaPilot, which delivers e-accounting solutions to tax authorities and businesses, and Saphety, which provides compliant e-invoicing services to governments and companies.
