Veterans are essential, valued members of the Suffolk family and every veteran who works at Suffolk has a unique story. Click below to hear in Brent Best’s words how he got to where he is today. #wearesuffolk #suffolkveterans
In support of our ten-year partnership with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, Suffolk Northeast recently hosted several 6-12th grade girls at our headquarters as part of their Career Academy program. The girls were able to experience an interactive tour of the office and CoLab, a panel discussion with Suffolk's women leaders, and a jobsite tour of our Northeastern University EXP project. The partnership was formed with the mission to expose young girls to the many sides of the construction industry. Thanks to everyone who helped make this day such a success! #rebuildtheratio #wearesuffolk #suffolkcares
On the cusp of our 40th anniversary as a company, we return to our red-white-and-blue roots with a refreshed and contemporary version of our iconic brand and wordmark. #proveimpossiblewrong
We did it again! Suffolk is proud to be a certified "Great Place to Work US” for the third consecutive year. This national certification, which comes through a research-backed employee experience survey, highlights Suffolk as a workplace where people can thrive. Even in the most challenging times, we come together as a team, grow stronger, and redefine what’s possible at every turn. Congratulations team! #wearesuffolk
This was a year for the builders. Here’s to your game-changing visions, iconic structures, and limitless potential. We can’t wait to see what’s next. Happy holidays!
Through The Scrim Project, Suffolk is turning over the wrap on our construction fence to local BIPOC artists, who will create community murals. This fence is no longer just a boundary. It’s now a space that amplifies their talents, voices, and power. Click below to read about our first artist feature in San Francisco and get involved! #thescrimproject
Stephen St. Russell, our senior virtual preconstruction manager, and his husband David have been leveling up their DIY skills daily as they transform their Victorian home. Throughout this renovation, they've navigated numerous complex projects, discovered the fulfillment of bringing a vision to life, and realized we're all better off when we look out for each other. Everybody has a story. Thanks to Stephen and David for sharing theirs.
Check out this blog post from Suffolk Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Navy veteran Jay Tangney about his transition from military service to civilian life and why Suffolk is a great fit. Thank you to all our Suffolk veterans and everyone who has served our country, happy Veterans Day! #suffolkveterans #VeteransDay #wearesuffolk
