Welcome Operations Manager Josh Gibson Josh joined the Sunstates Security team in 2022 as an Operations Manager for the Raleigh region. He brings years of law enforcement experience, including twenty-one years as the chief of police. Working in several fields of law enforcement, he has held many responsibilities and has developed many skills along the way. Josh has worked in major investigations, the K-9 team and was the chief of police. He took great pleasure in interacting with and providing safety for his community. At Sunstates Security, we continually update training and offer educational opportunities. An excellent example is Operations Manager John Cordts recently conducted security team meetings at a South Florida pharmaceutical facility. Two sessions were offered to allow as many team members to attend as possible. Client representatives also attended and spoke during the meeting. Topics discussed included policies, procedures, and de-escalation techniques. Meet Operations Manager Wesley Putnam of the Charlotte region. Wesley was welcomed to the Sunstates team in September of 2022. With over six years of leadership positions in the contract security field, Wesley will be a great fit for his role in the Charlotte region. Prior to joining Sunstates, Wesley worked as a Utility Supervisor and Field Supervisor for two large security firms. His duties included payroll, training, scheduling and leading the SERT (Security Emergency Response Team) deployments.
