Ned Prusila joined Sunstates Security in 2022, serving as an Operations Manager in the Charlotte, NC, area. He brings with him over 30 collective years of military, law enforcement, and private security experience. Ned began his career in the military, serving as a Data Processing Technician/Systems Analyst for the US Army and Navy. Following his military service, he pivoted to law enforcement, serving as a Unit Sergeant for the North Carolina Department of Corrections. He was responsible for the safety and security of the public, staff, and 250+ inmates. In 2004 he entered the private security industry as a Regional Manager for a South Florida company, managing a portfolio of 8000+ weekly hours. He later started and operated a successful Florida-based security business before moving to North Carolina. In his most recent position before joining Sunstates, Ned worked as a District Manager overseeing clients and managing guard staffing services across Central and Eastern NC.
In the San Antonio region, Site Supervisor Joe Flynn issued appreciation cards to two team members. Officer Stanley Harris and Athos Martinez-Salinas received the cards for their dedication to the site. Kayla Washington joins the Sunstates corporate team as an AP/AR Specialist. Her skills and work ethic made her a great candidate for the position, and since joining the team in August 2022, she has done a phenomenal job. Before joining Sunstates, Kayla worked as a Data Entry Clerk. Her responsibilities included initiating communication with clients to ensure thoroughness in company record-keeping, facilitating order entry processes, and accuracy in accounts receivable. In addition, she researched, verified, and updated data to facilitate e-commerce and the customer experience. During her time in this position, she became proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel by creating detailed data files and descriptions for 10,000+ products for client access. Kayla received an Associate in the Arts from Wake Technical Community College. Meet Charles Young! Sunstates added Charles Young to their growing corporate team in August 2022 as an IT Support. Charles is a dedicated professional who has successfully applied strategic IT plans to improve business efficiency. Sunstates is excited for him to utilize his experience to adapt the company to new tools and enhance the technology environment. Prior to working at Sunstates, Charles was employed by a leading life science and healthcare organization for over nine years. Starting as an IT Specialist/Lead, Charles was promoted to IT Asset Manager. In this role, he supported the IT operations organization by purchasing hardware and software, as well as overseeing processes, strategies, and technologies that support a full lifecycle approach to managing all assets of the corporate infrastructure. Additionally, Charles worked as an IT Support for a large financial corporation; he assisted the help desk by providing end-to-end troubleshooting and issue resolution for internal and external users.
