Andres is a motivated, well-organized security professional with over eight years of experience in the security field. Sunstates is excited to expand its leadership team in the California region with a supportive, knowledgeable individual such as Andres. Prior to joining Sunstates, Andres worked at a large international security provider as a Director of Security/Account Manager at a large healthcare facility. Andres was the liaison between the company and client, aligned expectations on new initiatives and addressed deficiencies in current processes, implemented and oversaw the security operations and developed staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management. Before that role, Andres was a Security Supervisor/Post Commander at a manufacturing and distribution facility. His duties included aiding customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally, assisting with training security staff and investigating and preparing reports on accidents
Vernessa Thomas came on board with Sunstates when we took over security services at the site. She has proven herself to be a natural leader and instructor. When Vernessa is on post, she has a positive influence on those around her and truly cares about the facility she protects. Regional Manager Justin Reaves acknowledged the Sioux Falls, SD team that conducted full building evacuation drills. Supervisor Eve Hagert planned and coordinated with the safety team and fire/emergency wardens to be prepared as they reoccupy the facility. The site is a four-story building with personnel scattered throughout. All 250+ employees were evacuated safely and accounted for by management during two random drills, which both occurred without complications.
