His leadership abilities and problem-solving skills will be a great resource to the team in the Cincinnati area. After Robert’s military career with the US Army, he settled in Rhode Island and took on the role of Director-Campus Safety & Security at a large educational campus. The Charlotte team visited a site to recognize Site Supervisor Rodger Mullins and Patrol Officer Bruce Titus for their role in extinguishing a fire that a contractor had intentionally set. They had the fire put out by the time the fire department arrived on the scene, and the subject was taken into custody by Mooresville PD. Each team member was presented with a certificate of recognition and a gift card. Additionally, lunch was provided as an extra “thanks” for a job well done. Outstanding work team! Your attention to detail and quick actions resolved a potentially large danger. President Glenn Burrell, CPP visited a long-time client site in Troy, Alabama. At this manufacturing site, we have a ton of fantastic officers and team members. The officers work around the clock ensuring safety at the facility by use of video technology and x-ray scanning of all incoming and outgoing items. Glenn and Regional Director Jim Bernier, CPP had a chance to chat and spend some time with these individuals. Site Manager Sonny Schreiber does an amazing job, the site has almost zero turnover under his leadership. His team looks up to him and respects him. Unlike many businesses that require security services, critical infrastructure such as refineries and petrochemical plants pose unique challenges. Threats to the environment, neighboring populations, and site employees’ lives and health contribute to this high-risk environment. An accidental or intentional incident at a plant or refinery could incur crippling costs, and worse, untold lives lost. Due to the nature of the work performed and importance to the economy, these facilities are also high-value targets for terrorism acts. Sunstates is highly qualified to provide customized security solutions to critical infrastructure clients, including petrochemical sites.
