Sunstates is growing its corporate team with the addition of Asia Battle. She will be taking on the Billing Specialist role in the expanding finance department. Asia has over fives years of working in billing departments and displays a positive, can-do attitude. Prior to Asia joining Sunstates, she was a Billing Specialist at a large automotive dealership in Raleigh, NC. Her duties entailed reviewing car sales for compliance, posting sales deals, maintaining schedules, and performing retail receivables tasks. Before that position, Asia worked for a consulting firm as an Executive Assistant/Billing Specialist. She performed administrative duties supporting the directors and project managers and completed end-of-month billing tasks to invoice clients. Asia received her Associate’s Degree from Wake Technical Community College. Raleigh Security Officer Rasaki Ayoade is recognized for his attention to detail while preventing damage to property in the building he is posted in. Congratulations on a job well done! While patrolling the penthouse/electrical room, Security Officer Rasaki Ayoade smelled smoke and contacted after-hours support. The responding technician provided Rasaki with concise directions on what to do. A failed coupling was rubbing with significant friction against the belt of the tenant loop pump, which caused the burning smell. If not caught, all the IT rooms in the building could have overheated, damaging valuable computer equipment belonging to building tenants. Rasaki, who consistently receives high praise for his excellent customer service, averted a potential disaster. Meet Security Officer Frank Stark of Dallas, TX- our most recent team member featured in the Sunstates Veteran Salute. Frank started his military career with the Texas Army National Guard. After serving with them for four years, he joined the US Army as a part of the 36th Infantry Division. There, he was a member of the Army Security Agency team and spent some time in Germany. Frank has been a member of the Sunstates team since 2005. He describes himself as a real people person and enjoys the teamwork and fellowship in his role. He likes working for Sunstates because he says everyone is always willing to help from the local level up through the corporate office.
