We had two officers at the same site in Delaware celebrate five years with Sunstates Security. Officer Connie Cusack and Greg McCoy are an amazing support for this location. Greg has been at this site for all five years of his employment, while Connie has been there for four. Employees recognize their faces, and visitors of the building appreciate being greeted by them. Both officers have been recognized by the client for their dedication. Operations Manager William Baker values having these two on his team. He knows they will handle anything that comes their way promptly and in a professional manner. In addition, they are great mentors to new employees joining the team. Thank you both for your five years of commitment to your site and Sunstates Security. We wish you great success in the years to come!

Last month in the California region, a quarterly team meeting was held with officers and partners at their site Valencia, CA. They reviewed the success and challenges of the quarter and had the opportunity to highlight the team’s performance. Officer Coless Catchings was presented an award for Officer of the Quarter and received a bonus check sponsored by the client. All retailers want their customers to have an enjoyable shopping experience while at their store; if not, it will discourage that consumer from returning. Security personnel on-site will make visitors and store employees feel more at ease by deterring theft, handling a hazardous situation and delivering a watchful eye. Retail security services can entail an officer on foot, in a patrol car, or a combination of the two. Learn more about retail security services in this article and ensure your shopping center is ready for the holiday season. #RetailSecurity #SecurityServices #CorporateSecurity #SecurityCompany #ShoppingCenterSecurity #SunstatesSecurity #LossPrevention #CustomerService #SecurityTraining ##SecurityPersonnel #HolidayShopping #ShoppingCenterSecurity #ShoppingCenter #RetailCenter #SecurityOfficer #SecurityGuard

Congrats to Karen Rice on her promotion to Onboarding Specialist in the corporate office! At Sunstates, we love to promote from within, and Karen is a great example- having three roles during her employment. Karen Rice joined the Sunstates team as an officer in 2017, positioned at a front desk of a busy high rise in downtown Raleigh. She was the first point of contact for employees, tenants and visitors of the ten-story building. In addition, Karen assisted with several building facility procedures, such as mechanic checks and access control. After two years at that post, Karen was promoted to Office Administrator at the Sunstates corporate office. Her devotion to the office and its people earned her a second promotion within two years. In her current role as an Onboarding Specialist, she facilitates the onboarding of key personnel joining the Sunstates team. Tasks included are ordering necessary items such as cell phones and laptops, setting up their emails, requesting business cards and more. She is also responsible for team credentials for several software programs.
