Meet Sharon Black, Operations Manager in the Orlando Region. Joining the Sunstates Security team in April 2021 as an Operations Manager, Sharon Black brings over five years of security, human resources, and office management experience. She initially began her security career working with a regional security provider as an Office Manager and Human Resources Administrator. In that role, she performed various hiring and scheduling functions and learned to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced and continuously changing working environment. After several years in this role, she was promoted to the Southeastern Regional Scheduling Manager, responsible for 10,000+ weekly service hours across FL, TN, NC, GA and LA. In her most recent role prior to joining Sunstates Security, Sharon served as a Branch Manager and Regional Support Specialist overseeing Tampa, FL, Nashville, and Memphis, TN markets. Sharon’s security experience, combined with her proven time management and customer service focus, provides her with an excellent skill set.

Welcome to the team, Norman Lietz! Norman joins Sunstates with over ten years of experience in multiple sectors of the security industry. He is a skilled professional well trained in safety procedures, employee recruitment and retention, and leadership. Prior to joining Sunstates, Norman successfully coordinated and planned security for significant events in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Working alongside law enforcement and fire marshals, he managed and mentored over 800 officers efficiently to deliver top-quality security services. As a Sunstates Operations Manager, Norman is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients across California and managing a team of security officers. His comprehensive management duties include screening, training, scheduling, and inspection of security officers. In addition, he also serves as the primary point of contact for his clients, making regular site visits and ensuring the quality of service provided.
Antonio Griffin joins the Dallas region as an Operations Manager. With over sixteen years of experience in the security industry, Sunstates is pleased to have Antonio Griffin join the team. His previous roles helped develop skills that include managing site security operations, supervising personnel, performing inspections and ensuring strategy implementation. Before joining the Sunstates team, Antonio oversaw the day-to-day operations for a 4,000-hour account. As an Operations Manager, Antonio is responsible for the direct supervision, coordination and management of team members assigned to his portfolio of clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Regularly Antonio is on-site performing quality control inspections, communicating face-to-face with his officers, and meeting client contacts. Antonio is a licensed private investigator and is CPR and AED certified. In addition, he completed several FEMA courses to include Anti-Terrorism and personal protection practices. We are grateful for the knowledge and expertise Antonio brings to our growing Dallas team.
