Last month, Swissport teams around the world came together to recognize Safety Month—a dedicated time to connect, reflect, and reinforce our commitment to safety as a core part of our culture and operations. Throughout the month, we encouraged open conversations about safety across all departments and levels. It's through these dialogues that we strengthen trust, improve practices, and keep safety at the heart of everything we do. A key theme during Safety Month was our commitment the phrase “Just Culture.” At Swissport, Just Culture means: ✅ Listen & Learn – Every conversation is an opportunity to grow. We value hearing from our teams. ✅ Avoid Blame – When people can report without fear, it creates space for honest improvement. ✅ Report Everything – Every report (no matter how small) helps build a safer workplace for everyone. Thank you to all our teams for making Safety Month meaningful and impactful across the globe!
We will be the first handler at JFK to operate an all-electric GSE fleet for all freighter operations from warehouse to ramp. Working closely with the Port Authority, we are investing in reliable charging infrastructure to power the future of cargo at JFK. ⚡ For Korean Air Cargo and its customers, this means: ✅ Cleaner operations that reduce emissions across the supply chain. ✅ Smarter efficiency with reliable, future-ready infrastructure. ✅ Sustainable growth with operations built to meet today’s demand and tomorrow’s opportunities. Together with Korean Air, we are modernizing JFK with automation, digital innovation, and eco-tech solutions — creating a cargo hub that is safe, reliable, and sustainable for the future.

Words cannot express the horror and sadness we feel as we learn more about the Türkiye-Syria earthquake that occurred on February 6. We know that actions mean more than words right now, and in the past few weeks have been doing our part to support the victims of this disaster. Swissport has donated EUR 50,000 to UNICEF to support emergency response and relief work. Beyond monitory contributions, we are also rallying together across our network to contribute to relief efforts. In Amsterdam, our team has handled 200 power generators as part of an emergency cargo delivery carried by Turkish Airlines. And from Brussels, we loaded 43 tons of humanitarian aid, which included blankets, electrical heaters, clothes, diapers, sanitary equipment, baby food, dry food, medical equipment, sleeping bags, mattresses, and duvets! This week, our ramp crews at Zurich Airport Ltd and Genève Airport loaded more than 200 tons of additional supplies on flights of Turkish Airlines to Turkey for distribution to the affected regions. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.
