When PT students Eleanor and Justin learned their patient was a huge baseball fan, they incorporated a game of baseball into his treatment. The resident used a pool noodle as a bat and a balloon as the baseball. He enjoyed it so much that he stole third base when no one was looking and even did a bat flip after a big hit!
Patients at one of our Kansas facilities made paper Christmas ornaments with Speech Therapist Sandi, which really helped bring some joy to their therapy sessions during the holidays!! βοΈβοΈπ

Our teams in New Jersey recently attended a wheelchair clinic and information workshop hosted by the positioning vendor that the VA works with. Our staff and our residents got to learn about the latest in power wheelchair technology and seating systems! How Awesome!
