In March 2020, TeamHealth clinicians treated the first COVID-19 patient in Chicago. At that moment, they stepped into a battle with an unknown opponent that over 12 months has brought unimaginable heartbreak for a significant loss of life, triumph in innovation for treatment protocols, and hope for a future when the pandemic is finally under control. Through it all, our teams have fought for patients nationwide from urban epicenters to rural communities with uncompromising devotion. Today, we begin a series to look back at the challenges the healthcare community has faced, the sacrifices they have made, and the sheer determination they showed in the face of an unyielding opponent. This iconic image of married CRNAs has become our symbol for strength, courage, and hopefulness that we can get through anything as long as we do it together. Photo credit: Nicole DeLoach Hubbard

For now, we’re wishing you, your leadership team and the communities you selflessly serve our very best.
