On a scale of 1-10, we’re an 11! For 11 consecutive years, we’ve been recognized by Fortune for being a #100BestCos. This year, we’ve been ranked #40! Today, our Founder and CEO David Overton said, “The Cheesecake Factory is very honored to be named on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the eleventh year in a row. Since opening our first restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1978, we have strived to create a very special company culture, so this award is particularly meaningful. I extend my sincerest appreciation to each of our more than 47,000 staff members and managers for their continued dedication to maintaining our culture while taking great care of our guests and each other. We want to thank our staff for always living our purpose – to nurture bodies, minds, hearts and spirits. #soCheesecake #GPTW
In honor of Women's History Month, we’re celebrating the incredible contributions and achievements of the women who make our restaurants a success every day! These women play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and maintaining high standards of excellence.
In the month of February, we celebrated not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE major restaurant anniversaries! 10 years for Syracuse, NY, 15 years for Walnut Creek, CA 20 years in Cincinnati, OH, and finally 25 YEARS for both Thousand Oaks, CA and San Diego, CA! With a combination of 95 years, all of our success is because of our amazing staff. Become part of the team yourself. Check out all of our openings here: https://www.cakecareers.com/main/
What's everyone cheering about? You'll just have to find out during New Menu Roll Out! Twice per year, we update our menu with some delicious new items and will be coming to your local restaurant soon! It all starts with training at our test kitchen in Calabasas, CA with our Restaurant Operations teams. There, they learn about each item’s flavor profile and practice creating it so they can come back to their restaurant and teach others. We can’t wait for everyone to taste these delicious new items!
Hiring a new staff member is always cause for celebration, but recently we were particularly excited to welcome two individuals to the Cheesecake family: Charis, a busser, and Khiara, a dessert finisher. Charis and Khiara came to us through Best Buddies, a nonprofit we recently partnered with that helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) find meaningful employment. Approximately 85 percent of adults with IDD do not have a paid job in the community, so matching reliable, enthusiastic Best Buddies candidates with stable, engaging job opportunities at CCF is a win-win situation for all! Charis joined us in November and is now thriving in her role as a busser. “I like my job because I get to earn money and be more independent and responsible," said Charis. "My goals are to take care of myself and my family." Khiara joined us in December. “This job has brought me lots of joy, more financial freedom and a sense of accomplishment," said Khiara. We’re grateful to our teams for the ways they’re nurturing Charis and Khiara and supporting the IDD community! Thank you for living our Purpose in such a powerful way.
‘Tis the season for new restaurant openings! Yesterday our latest location made its grand debut in Highland Village, TX, welcoming droves of hungry and excited guests. Found within The Shops at Highland Village, the largest shopping center in northern Texas, our beautiful new restaurant is our 19th in the Lone Star State. This unique destination is renowned for its blend of metropolitan amenities with a relaxed atmosphere, offering a little something for everyone. Just like us! “Our DTs did an amazing job setting the standard for excellence and helping new team members understand the complexities of our restaurant,” said Patrick Williams, Sr. NRO Manager. “Thanks to them, this talented group is ready to provide our guests with delicious food and memorable hospitality.” As we kick off the holiday season, we want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to ensuring the successful opening of CCF Highland Village. We're able to open amazing new locations like this one because of the incredible loyalty each of our staff and managers builds with our guests. Thank you to the Highland Village team, as well as all of our teams, for creating unforgettable dining experiences each day!

Pride, Passion & Purpose isn't just about the work in our restaurants but in our communities as well. Every year since 2009, Feeding America's Hunger Action Month is when our staff donate hundreds of thousands of pounds of peanut butter to local food banks across the country. We chose peanut butter because it's a shelf-stable, ready-to-eat protein that requires no preparation. Anyone, even children, can simply open a jar and enjoy a delicious PB sandwich. Over the last 15 years, we're proud to have donated nearly 2,000,000 pounds of peanut butter to Feeding America locations across the country.
As we celebrate our 45th Anniversary, Business Insider took an in-depth look into our iconic history, recounting our humble beginnings and exploring the inspiration behind some of our signature menu items, our unique culture, and how The Cheesecake Factory defied industry rules to emerge as the beloved brand it is today.
We're so excited to share that we've been named to PEOPLE's 100 Companies that Care list for a third consecutive year!
