We recognize that conservation is best advanced by the leadership and contributions of people of widely diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities. This past July 11th, TNC was delighted to conduct our annual Diversity Day event virtually for all staff members. Diversity Day is a special occasion that allows our employees to connect, collaborate, and build networks with peers and associates. The day was filled with a rich assortment of sessions that covered topics such as the significance of allyship, integrating conservation into community spaces, an entertaining video series on urban nature education, the impactful work of young professionals in the field of fisheries, and the pursuit of gender equity, among other captivating subjects! Explore stories and learn about the real-world impacts of TNC team members’ dedication to conservation in our 2024 DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice) report.

Happy Fourth of July from TNC! Celebrating freedom and independence with the symbol of our strength and resilience: the bald eagle. 🦅 Bald eagles are thriving today, but in 1963, there were just 487 breeding pairs in the lower 48 states. Their comeback is one of the greatest conservation success stories, demonstrating that complex problems can be solved with dedicated action. 🦅🇺🇸
