Today, on Juneteenth, we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. It's a day to reflect on the struggles and triumphs of the Black community, and a reminder of the ongoing work towards racial equality. In recognition of Juneteenth, we want to thank the Black and African American Americans at Maxar (BAAM) Employee Resource Group (ERG) for their engaging virtual game show-style event yesterday. The event provided a valuable opportunity for employees to expand their knowledge of Juneteenth's significance and strengthen relationships with colleagues through small group discussions. At Maxar Intelligence, we're committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. This Juneteenth let's go beyond commemoration and use it as a springboard for continued action towards a more just and equitable future.
