Based in our Westminster office, Leland develops software solutions for our ground systems. However, his impact goes beyond his technical expertise. He's a passionate advocate for collaboration and mentorship. One of his key pieces of advice to early-career professionals? "In business, anything can happen at any time. Don't get too comfortable. We are celebrating the successful launch of our first two WorldView Legion spacecraft! A short time ago, they deployed their single solar arrays and started receiving and sending signals. Now we will begin commissioning them to bring the highest resolution commercial satellite imagery to our customers. Thank you to SpaceX for the safe ride to orbit on a Falcon 9 rocket!

Two WorldView Legion satellites built by Maxar Space Systems for Maxar Intelligence arrived and are preparing for launch at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. These satellites will ride a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket into orbit as soon as April.
