Kudos to our Israeli team for participating in the Sunrise Israel Association run in Tel Aviv! This was their 6th year participating in the annual event. We raised over $100,000 to support children with cancer and their siblings.

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is a holiday that recognizes the end of slavery and celebrates the freedom, heritage, culture, and achievements of Black Americans. At Varonis, we want to celebrate the day and recognize its importance by hearing from one of our own employees, Jada Robinson, Marking Operations Coordinator, on different ways we can all celebrate and commemorate this holiday. This year, our Varonis President’s Club took place in the beautiful island of Anguilla. From horseback riding to snorkeling, the President Club members celebrated their 2021 achievements and enjoyed some well-earned rest and relaxation.
May marks the celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month! During this month and beyond, we celebrate the rich culture, contributions, and extensive histories of individuals and groups of Asian and Pacific Islander descent to the United States. We are excited to put the spotlight on our very own AAPI team members where they will be telling us what AAPI Heritage Month means to them, as well as immersing us into their cultures by sharing family stories, traditions, holidays, food, and other things that bring them joy. Giving back is an important mission at Varonis. Our Strategic Planning & Operations Team Lead created and facilitated a financial literacy class on "credit and budgeting" for almost 60 students at Eagle Academy. Eagle Academy, an all-boys college-preparatory school in Bronx, NY provides intense academics and a supportive environment to young men of color. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.
