We’re giving a shoutout to our awesome team of Yugoers in Cork, Ireland who recently spent their Yugo Volunteer Day cleaning up Garretstown Beach. 🏖🗑 Together, the team collected five large bags of rubbish, which would have otherwise contaminated the 🌊 ocean with toxic chemicals and microplastics. Thank you to this awesome team for representing what our YugoEco pillar is all about - creating a better 🌎 world for all! 🙌

Meet the star of the hour, Ciarán Fogarty! 🌟 The proud winner of the Breakthrough Scholar 2023 in collaboration with Technological University Dublin, THINKHOUSE and Yugo. At Yugo, we're thrilled to support Ciarán's academic journey by providing him a space close to his studies🏠📚 Not to mention, he's diving deep into the world of Digital Marketing & Content Creation with a full-time Masters at TU Dublin! 🎓💼 Here's what Ciarán had to say: "Without this scholarship I don’t think I would have been able to continue my education and go on to do a masters which was always my dream, so to take that on at TU Dublin will be amazing. Being able to live close to college in the Yugo accommodation will make a massive difference to my quality of life. I’m used to a long daily commute so living near college will give me an amazing student experience. I also look forward to gaining experience in THINKHOUSE, a leading marketing agency whose work I’ve long admired. Meet Matthew Hannah, our extraordinary Area Manager from Exeter, UK, who was selected to attend the Yugo-BAFTA Student Film Awards as our 2022 BSC Champion of the Year in Europe! In this special edition Yugoer spotlight, we’re sharing Matthew’s perspective on this exciting event. Highlighting a memorable moment, Matthew shares, “my lasting memory will always be what it meant to the winners in that moment. You can see all their hard work was validated in that one instant. There was never just one individual winner - the volume of people involved and acknowledged was eye opening. They were all so complimentary of the other nominations, they all knew the work it had taken just to be nominated.” Commenting on Yugo’s involvement as the title sponsor, Matthew shares, “I was extremely proud to attend - being the main sponsor represents everything Yugo is about, our values totally align with BAFTA. Who better to tell our story other than our Yugonauts 🚀 As part of our #YuPro pillar we empower young people beyond higher education offering them employment opportunities to gain valuable work experience whilst they live with Yugo. Our Yugonauts are students living at Yugo, who document their experience, capture content of our spaces, and gain social media marketing experience from marketing professionals throughout the program. 🤳🏼 We are so proud of all of the amazing results they have so far achieved and we can't wait to see them continue to shine with us and in their future endeavours! ⭐

Maria does an amazing job keeping Pullman Hills ✨ pristine, creating an extraordinary experience for residents, and keeping the space running smoothly. She’s praised for being the first to 🙋♀️ raise her hand to help others and always putting her team first and giving them the opportunity to grow. 💪😍 For Maria, “fostering community within my team of 16 and ensuring that we create standards in the market” is the most important part of her role.
