Our fulfillment centers are designed to save energy by using battery-powered forklifts and automated lighting systems. Once products are ready to send, we use reusable pallets made of lightweight plastic that require less energy to ship (which means less fuel and emissions), and old corrugated cartons are recycled and reused. And when your iHerb package arrives at your doorstep, you’ll find that we’ve replaced standard plastic packaging with more sustainable options. We opt for paper-based tape, wrap, void, labels, and corrugated cartons instead of plastic materials like bubble wrap, air pillows, bags, and acrylic tape. It’s all part of our promise to make every day Earth Day.
