Shout out to the iHerb Easton, PA Operations team for always being a part of the community and giving back. The group gathered cash donations for the Ronald McDonald Fund and collected back-to-school supplies for the Boys & Girls Club. This September 10th, iHerb teams in Korea and China begin their annual 3-day autumn harvest festival celebration. In Korea, the harvest celebration is known as Chuseok (“Autumn Eve” in Korean) or Korean Thanksgiving. Traditionally recognized as a time for families to gather together during the full harvest moon, today many Koreans celebrate by visiting their ancestral hometowns to give thanks for an abundant autumn harvest. In China, the harvest celebration is known as the Mid-Autumn Festival or the Mooncake Festival. As part of the Mooncake Festival, families gather to pay tribute to the moon for a prosperous fall season. Children and adults alike eat full-moon-shaped pastries symbolizing family reunion and happiness. The iHerb Leadership Academy is proud to congratulate our inaugural cohort of "Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue" graduates. Over the course of five 2.5-hours sessions, this select group of leaders went into in-depth discussions and activities on how to effectively hold high-stakes conversations and turn disagreement into dialogue for improved relationships and results. In celebration of "Know Your Customer" day, we have asked Eric Carr, iHerb's CX Senior Manager, to tell us about iHerb's Customer Experience, and what it means to be "customer-centric": "Something to know about our Customer Experience team is that we are extremely attentive to the millions of interactions we have with customers. Don’t just think of the iHerb support agent as someone who can resolve your issue but as someone who is fighting to make sure it never happens again. I’ve seen customer feedback on a single app review change iHerb’s customer experience for the better. As a customer-centric company, our work is never done. We are constantly reviewing our customer's needs, looking to engineer a better experience long after we have stopped communicating with a customer."
