iHerb is proud to announce that Catalin Baloi has been promoted to Vice President, Global Total Rewards & HRIS. Catalin started with iHerb in 2020 and immediately upon joining he went on to establish our Total Rewards function, rolling out iHerb's compensation and benefits strategy, improving our offering and automating our processes. He and his HRIS team have also strengthened our HR technology capacity, enhancing the Workday environment and deploying new tools to help employees and our HR team. Congratulations, Catalin!

Happy National #MentoringMonth for our team at iHerb. Since 2002 the mentorship community has celebrated this January observance, shining a light on the benefits of mentoring and those who take time to share their wisdom and provide guidance. Here at iHerb we also celebrate January as Talent Development month, a time to focus on Talent Development as both a Talent Standard and a Leadership Capability. Throughout the month, we encourage team members to embrace development opportunities through coaching, mentoring, and training. This year we are especially proud to announce the launch of our new Mentorship Program, where team members across all parts of the business have begun to connect in support of personal growth and development — for both mentors and mentees. Mentorship provides team members the opportunity to recognize their abilities and identify areas for development. It also provides a chance outside of typical work interactions to discuss career opportunities and paths, improving employee engagement, developing leadership, and creating lasting relationships. #iHerbCareers
As we move through January, we wanted to pause for a moment to look back at a fun and fulfilling end of 2022. This recent holiday season gave the iHerb team a chance to spend some relaxing time together, take part in a little friendly competition, and give back to local communities. Here's a recap of the events that took place at iHerb in December: In Easton, the team had some fun putting together a holiday gift raffle. To wrap up, the group celebrated with a Year End luncheon that included visit a from Santa and one of his elves. The Perris & Moreno Valley teams partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Redlands-Riverside, sponsoring their annual Holiday Extravaganza Celebration to provide gifts to children in the local community. Back at the DCs, teams also had some competitive fun decorating Gingerbread Houses and Departments/Workstations. In Hebron, team members celebrated the holidays with a Q4 Luncheon and a special visit from iHerbie, Hebron's holiday elf. The team also participated in a St. Vincent De Paul charity, supplying two local families with holiday gifts.

Starting this weekend, our iHerb team members all over the world will begin their Lunar New Year celebrations. In China, Spring Festival Couplets are being posted, and family reunion dinners have already begun. Soon, red packets filled with money will also be shared with younger relatives as a sign of good luck. From all of us at iHerb, we wish you a healthy and happy start to the Lunar New Year. May the Year of the Rabbit be a prosperous and fulfilling year for all!
In celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we reflect on Dr. King's commitment to community and education. Today, at iHerb's facility in Easton, PA, we kick off a week-long Book Exchange, giving team members the opportunity to share books with and learn more about each other. Books left over after the event will then be given to the local community. Dr. King believed in the power of service, once saying that "Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve." His words inspire us to improve the community through volunteer service and educational opportunities, approaching MLK day as a "day on, not a day off." #MLKDay | #MLKDayON | #MLKDayofService
