Every Holiday season, LEGO® colleagues get treated with a unique LEGO set made exclusively for employees – a tradition since 2009! ❤🎁🎄 A small cross-functional team works on this top-secret project for a whole year 😱 until it’s finally revealed in November. This year, the gift celebrates the 10th anniversary of LEGO Friends, one of our most successful and beloved play themes. Fun fact: It's the last LEGO model that comes with the five original LEGO Friends characters, because in the new year they're going to grow up and make way for the eight new LEGO Friends characters. 🤩 The picture below shows Project Director Mogens Brynning, the leader of this special annual project, who has received every one of the 14 gift sets ever made. Did you know? According to the LEGO® Play Well 2022 Report, most adults (93%) worldwide are regularly feeling stressed, with 80% saying they are actively looking for new ways to unwind and relax. The report, which surveyed over 30,000 adults from 33 countries around the world, showed many are finding it hard to disconnect from work, with 6 in 10 (58%) admitting they spend less than one hour a day relaxing and 5 in 10 (55%) saying they have a hard time switching off. Genevieve Cruz, Head of Product for the Adults audience, said: “LEGO building isn’t just for children, and getting creative with LEGO bricks can help adults to relax, feel creative and get a real sense of achievement. These sorts of activities transcend age and can have benefits for builders both young and old.
