Super proud to announce that ‘LEGO® Braille Bricks – Play with Braille’ has been recognized at Scope Disability Equality Awards – being honoured Accessible Product of the year ❤️ The product is currently available in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. Each brick features studs on top that correspond to a letter, number or symbol of the braille code, ensuring an inclusive play experience where blind, visually impaired and sighted people can equally engage. Today, LEGO® colleagues in Virginia, #USA 🇺🇸 joined Chesterfield County officials for a tree-planting ceremony at the beautiful Rockwood Park, one of eight county parks that has been reforested as part of our public-private partnership 🤝. Preben Elnef, Vice President at the LEGO Group and county officials reflected on the significance of this project, which will result in the planting of more than 1,440 trees hand-selected by an expert team of landscape architects and nursery professionals, helping to revitalize the community’s beloved green spaces. 🌲 🌳 This project marks an important milestone in our journey to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that minimizes energy use and impact. Celebrating another milestone at our state-of-the-art factory LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam 🙌 Today we raised the final structural beam on our moulding hall at our new Vietnam factory, moving us one step closer to our planned start of production in the second half of 2024. Of the more than 500 team members we plan to hire by the end of next year, a significant number will be working in this building – though it will look a little different by the time they join us! This construction milestone came as we recorded a total of 3 million safe working hours at the site, ensuring that our facilities remain a safe workplace for all. #JustImagine #BehindTheBricks
