they do provide disability insurance which is probably the same as most companies (66% of income). However, considering the low pay that isn't much money coming in to live on.

They offer it, but their contracted insurer - Liberty Mutual - routinely denies both short-term and long-term claims by Amazon employees. If you choose to work at Amazon I highly recommend that you secure your own disability insurance policy through your auto or home insurer. I cannot stress this enough: You should NOT rely on the disability policies offered through your benefits package. !

Employees do not have to pay any for Short Term Disability Insurance and you have choice to have Long Term Disability Insurance if you are willing to pay out of your own pocket for low price.
