Very basic health insurance with high deductible. Prescription plan has lots of exclusions. Chances are your prescription is not covered unless it is a cheap generic and any money that you pay towards non covered prescriptions will not even count towards your deductible.Unless you use a lot of medical services that are covered and meet your deductible early in the year, this is an average insurance plan.

Have shifted to high deductible health plans - good employee education - programs great for some and terrible for others

The Health Insurance options are very minimal. There's really only 2 options: one that includes an HSA and one that doesn't both with only one Health Insurance company. Years ago, there were many options to choose from. The company does contribute up to $1000 for each employee at the beginning of the year to help with the high deductible and co-insurance of the plan.

the minimum copay requirements are not ideal. we have to pay 2400, after which 90/10 kicks in.

ok health insurance typical high delectable plan so if you are healthy, the costs dont outweigh the benefits.
