Frontier is self insured so working with the medical insurance provider is easier. They do not directly lose money and are more willing to keep the customer happy.

The health insurance was OK. Before I left , the employee portion paid went up almost double.

It is a pretty good plan (HMO) that costs less per month than the weekly cost of insurance for most of my friends working at other local companies.

ususally 100% coverage with a copay. Used to not have to pay any of the premium but that changed last year, which is pretty on par for what most other employers require. But still, one of the only redeeming parts about working there was the benefits and pay, and when they start to falter, the incentive to stay in a miserable work atmosphere diminishes.
