The deductible is high. It’s horrible insurance.

Worst thing is you pay $9,000 out of pocket before any insurance kicks in. What is the point of paying for insurance with this stipulation?

Costs are increasing to employees greatly and the out of pocket has tripled in last 3 years to the employees. Part of this is overall health care, but I think the company could do better by their employees with a little effort to find a less "easier" option for the company in order to provide a better benefit to the employees.

Healthcare used to be awesome, but they changed last year and it's much more expensive.

Health insurance seems to be expensive all the way around but if you do the wellness program where you jump through a couple hoops, they cover a decent amount for a decent price.

In 2018, Health Insurance Plans transitioned to high-deductible, high out-of-pocket maximum; doubling out of pocket costs for employees (not an exaggeration). Overall, employees are dissatisfied with the changes. Nothing in the benefits package is setting JCI a part from other companies thus discouraging employee retention.
