If you go through AT&T cellular provider, they offer 22% discount if you are a Safeway employee

it got better after I quit. they now have 5% off of national brands and 10% off of Safeway brands.

I think it was 10% off groceries. Note you also had to have prescriptions filled at Safeway which was kind of a pain if those close to you did not have pharmacies
