You can "buy" additional vacation. It gets refunded to you if you don't use it. Up to 80 hours at first, and then you get more with time in the company.

Vacation would have been good if I'd had enough to visit my family and go someplace to relax. Until 5 years service employees only get 2 weeks/year -- so you must choose family vs. recreational vacation use.
