Performance bonus is based on agency production, so the inside operation employees have very little to do with the numbers. If production is down due to high premiums, small bonus. Again, this replaced the old cash bonus structure and hurt long term and new employees.

Solid bonus structure, though it can feel a bit frustrating to see it tied to areas you have no real ability to impact.

Neither good nor bad. If you were an exceptional employee, you, of course, received better increase. Depending on what were position was, that played a factor too. If your supervisor was fair and rated an employee what they actually should be rated instead of what the employee felt they should be rated, then your raise was very fair. However, many supervisors gave high ratings to those who were undeserving and this took "part of the pie" away from others who should have received a generous increase. I was very fortunate in my 25+ years to always receive a fair and accurate rating of my performance.

Depends on the agent. Always ask for certain incentives and long term plans to be determined in writing including how to reach those incentives to move up.
