TRICARE is a comprehensive plan. Certain TRICARE coverage options are no cost to enrolled participants and their dependents. The quality of care varies more than it should, often depending on the personalities of the individual providers. It can be very difficult and tedious to communicate with assigned providers, particularly when a question arises and an in-person appointment is not necessary. The on-line communication options are not overly responsive and, on any given non-emergency issues, providers have up to 72 hours to respond and sometimes you do not get a response.
