Have to complete online application first before being invited to interview. I had a group interview with 3 people, we were each asked the same question and had to answer individually. The interview lasted for around 20 minutes
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Sep 2024
Interview
Passed the online application and was invited to do a video interview which is just recording yourself answering questions, which is also timed. Wasn’t expecting to pass that but did and was invited to a face to face individual interview with the area manager, which wasn’t too bad but asked questions I hadn’t prepared for but didn’t think it went to badly and said I’d hear back within 48hours whether I’d got through to the next stage (which would be a talk with the actual store manager and an experience type day in store and then from there him and the manager would decide if you’d got it on not)which I didn’t. It’s a lot of stages to go through to be disappointingly told no tbh.
Interview questions [7]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself(not in a work sense) and hobbies
No quiz to apply (unexpected) then invited to do a short series of pre recorded video questions, these were timed so it was worth Practising a little beforehand as you inly get a minute in some of them to show your personality.
Once successful, invited to an in person interview in a store with the area manager, then one after this with the Store manager of the store I'd be working at before being offered a position and negotiating what contract hours I'd like.
