I applied online but Wasn't successful. I guess it is because of Covid19. They say that a lot of people are applying for the job. And to try again in 6 months.
It was pleasant enough you don’t have to be a genius to get the job, as long as you are good at maths and can hold a conversation with the interviewer you will get the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Manchester, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied online and completed an online assessment. This was a fairly long process which involved lots of scenario questions and how you would deal with situations. I was then invited to a group assessment. There was around 10 of us in attendance and we were firstly asked to speak to the person next to us and report back to the group what we had learnt about them. We were then asked to complete a 'basic' numeracy test. We had 5 minutes to answer 10 long-worded questions (how much change would you give a customer if their shopping cost £X and they gave you £X). The next task was a group exercise, where we had 10 in store tasks and we had to work together to prioritise the tasks.
