I recently interviewed with ActiveCampaign for an Account Executive position. The virtual interview process consisted of three rounds: a 30-minute introductory call with the recruiter, followed by two 30-minute interviews with an AE and a Manager.
After successfully advancing to the next stage, I was provided with all the necessary information for a one-hour discovery call and presentation with the team. I prepared thoroughly in advance. However, a day later, I received an unexpected email stating that the process had been paused due to internal reasons.
Two weeks later, I followed up to inquire about the status of the application with some questions about the reason. Unfortunately, they were on vacation and responded with a dismissive email, claiming there had been no changes and they would reach out when there was an update. But they didn't answer my questions (so disappointed).
A month later, I sent another follow-up and was informed that the role had been reassigned to the DACH market. I was disappointed by ActiveCampaign's handling of the situation. Well, done ActiveCampaign !
