We apologize that you had a negative interview experience with us. We make significant investments in time and resources on ensuring a superior candidate experience so we are truly disappointed when we receive feedback from a candidate who shares a poor experience.
As it relates to your specific feedback, without further context, is difficult to comment on how the opportunity might have been communicated in a way that made it sound more difficult than it seemed in the actual interviews. Our recruiters focus on providing candidates with a broader perspective of the business, our transformation and the general skills required for success within this transformation to help ensure there is an appreciation for the big picture rather than just a narrow or singular focus on the job being interviewed for. As part of reviewing the company and the role we typically work to set expectations for the process and timing to ensure every candidate is beginning their engagement with an understanding of how each step will flow.
Specific to this role, we had in excess of 8 interviews over the course of the past 2 weeks, and only came to final decisions late yesterday, so it seems you may have been one of the first we brought in for an onsite for this position and therefore, the wait for feedback was a bit longer than other candidates. If you feel expectations for timeline on a final decision were not made clear, we apologize and will take your feedback as data points to focus on getting better.
