25 minute phone screen with their internal recruiter was scheduled. Actual call lasted 10 minutes before they decided I was not the best fit - I knew how to use a certain software, but hadn’t used it at my current out-of-date company. Completely understandable, but incredibly disheartening. No chance to even plead my case, just told to try again when I have used the software at a job..
