The interview process here is very different. There is a brief phone screening and then your told to come in for a group interview of about 15 people. There was about 6 managers in a panel in front watching us. Don't be nervous, the panel participates and interacts with the interviewees rather than just sitting there and were all very nice. The group was about 2 hours, so it was pretty long, but I found it enjoyable for an interview. First they told us to recreate our resume using craft supplies. Next, we had to identify 12 food items on a table. I only got 5 right, but unless you apply to work in food demos or something this part didn't really matter. Next, we had to solve a customer service scenario in pairs of 2. We then were each given a food item and had to do a 30 second "commercial" on why someone should buy this item. Don't just talk about the item. Be creative. They are mostly looking for creative, outgoing people to join the team. I left the group interview and about 5 minutes later I got called by the meat market asking for a 1 on 1. The one on one was not really an interview. It was basically signing forms, telling me what to expect in the position, salary, etc.
