Of all sales opportunities in Knoxville at the time, this one had the most professional and respectable interview process. I don't know if things have changed since then, but there have been management changes in the past year and I assume they have. Combined seemed more selective, while other companies seemed to be willing to hire anyone with a pulse. The initial interview was with the area manager along with his manager (district or market). There was a timed IQ test afterward and paperwork for a background check. If the first interview goes well, the area manager contacts you for a field interview where the prospective employee gets a chance to meet an active agent, rep, or manager and shadow them. A few days later, the area manager contacted me for a third interview, one on one but more casual. The purpose was seemingly to receive my feedback on seeing how the job would be. In my case I was impressed by everything at that point, the job was offered to me and I accepted.
