Confluent Sales Development Representative interview questions

I was contacted by one of the recruiters from Confluent, and after an initial call, I was asked to go for an interview with the person who would be my direct manager in just 2 days. The recruiter told me that they were in a hurry since it was a position to open the market in another country. Surprisingly, after we finished the interview, I was told that actually they did not know if the position would be filled in London at that moment, in 3 months, or never because they'd open in the new geo. I left feeling that they had not been honest since the beginning and following the same attitude, I was told that the recruiter would contact me to let me know what their expectations were but of course that never happened.
