Recruiter from CVS health reached out and reviewed my qualifications. I should have had the recruiter go over the position, because the interview was a complete waste of both of our time. I was told it would be a panel interview and to bring additional copies of resume. Upon arrival, the interviewer was late by 15 min, because a pharmacy student was giving a presentation. No big deal, interviewer was very nice and explained the panel would consist of herself, three other pharmacists, a pharmacy technician, and 2 pharmacy interns. Upon entering , the whole room was very unwelcoming and the opening questions were not pertinent compared to other opening interview questions. The interview was cut short after ten minutes. They mentioned the job description would require the majority of my time would be spent outside the clean room, talking with patients over the phone. The job description and title stated they were looking for an IV tech for their infusion center, so I will mostly blame the recruiter for not going over what they were looking for in an employee. The panel made it seem as if they were looking for an potential employee to be flexible; but in actuality this position did not suit what I was looking for and had nothing to do with my unwillingness to cross train . I did not appreciate the laughter I could hear upon exiting the room, as it was extremely unprofessional on their end. All in all I was disappointed in my experience, but have no harsh feelings as this position was not what I had originally expected it to consist of.
