I had a recent interview experience that I would like to share, which was divided into three parts. First, the interviewer introduced me to the company and the position, and we discussed my experience, which was a positive start. The second part involved a coding challenge on a dedicated platform, which included a database challenge, a code challenge, and some technical questions. I had one hour to complete these tasks. The third part was a technical screener interview, but it appeared the interviewer was not well-prepared. The questions were quite basic, such as asking if I knew about Kubernetes, design patterns, and database indexes. I answered all of these questions, but the interview ended after just 15 minutes, and it seemed like the interviewer was reading from a script. Unfortunately, the company did not record the interview. I couldn't help but notice a potential bias in the process, which might have affected the interview's quality, especially for someone with more experience and qualifications. It felt as though the interviewer may have felt threatened. When I requested feedback from the recruiter, they mentioned that my answers weren't sufficiently detailed. It struck me as odd because during the interview, I wasn't asked about my previous experience or any in-depth technical questions; instead, I was presented with very basic inquiries. In response, I tried to explain how I had applied these technologies in my past projects.
