SO STRANGE and creepy! They asked odd questions that seemed far too personal (see questions below) and also only have their cameras on for the first 10 seconds of the call claiming they needed to "preserve their bandwidth." I did a screening and first round interview and they wouldn't let me ask any details about the actual job only telling me about the "culture." After researching this company on Reddit and the 1 star reviews on here, I was not going to take a job regardless, but this process was just downright creepy and disconcerting. During my interview, I asked what qualities they were looking for in a potential employee besides being "driven" and "having a go-getter attitude" (buzzwords that they used constantly). They responded that "Well that's just about it!" They also bragged about conducting about 900 interviews a week and only hiring 1% of those. During the interview I was told that the next step would be another interview where I would learn details about the position. After the interview on a Friday afternoon, I was emailed an assessment and was told that this was the next step even when they didn't mention this in the interview. I decided to ignore the assessment since it was a Friday evening and Saturday at 11pm I received an email saying I was no longer being considered for the position (thank goodness!). It seemed like they were measuring how "driven" I was by if I was going to complete the assessment after typical work hours. Simply put, I am not "everlight solar material" and I'm happy about that!
