I applied through a recruiter for the position. I had a behavioral based phone interview, was then sent a IQ/Intelligence Test as well as a Personality Test. Then I had a 1:1 interview with a different recruiter same company, after that I had a panel interview, followed by an interview with the actual manager of the department. I then went back the next day after I had made it through the next round and had another interview with the same manager who would become my direct supervisor.
Farmers takes their time in selecting the right person for the job. They get a bad wrap, but as you see that is mainly from independent agents and CSR's two of the hardest jobs to be happy in. As an employye though, they spend plenty of time making sure you fit their needs and do not waste your time if you do not. Overall, the experience was difficult, but makes sure to know how to answer behavioral based questions with STAR, and know your resume! This is good advice for anyone.
There is a reason why some jobs take an hour to accept an offer and others take 30 days....the quality of the employee, the experience and the difference in salary from $8/hr to $40/hr.
