Flexport Software Engineer interview questions

Was a New Grad role. Interview process was as follows: 1st Online Assessment 2ns Recruiter phone screen Final: Hiring Manager + Project Deep dive Final: Technical/Coding interview Pretty standard behavioral questions and a deep dive with one of projects of your choice followed by live coding using a shared code editor.

The hiring manager and I set up an interview for a week and a half out. The day of, 5 minutes after our interview was supposed to have started, she emails me saying she is running behind and if we could reschedule. I was annoyed that my time wasn’t being treated as valuable, but I rescheduled for the following week, which was the earliest she could do. During our call, after exchanging pleasantries, she asks if I was willing to relocate to Bellevue as the SF office was no longer hiring. I responded I was not, and that essentially ended our interview. It was not specified in the application that relocation was required, and the hiring manager easily could have asked me that in one of our emails leading up to the interview. Disappointed to have my time and energy wasted. Will be taking my talent to a different company that appreciates me.
