I got a call from the company saying they saw my resume on Monster.com and asking to come in for an interview a couple of days later. I asked what type of job this would be for, as I am not interested in sales but rather administrative work. They said depending on your interests, there are openings in sales as well as many administrative positions, as the company is growing. When I got to the interview, they brought me to a room with many other people and asked to fill out an informational form as well as a behavior questionnaire. In the middle of filling that out, the owner brought me back and asked me one question. She talked with me for 2-3 minutes and had me go back in the room. I finished filling out the other questionnaire, then she came in and gave all 20 or so people in the room an overview of the company. She talked about the jobs, and they were all sales with no base salary. It was all commission. At that point, I knew that I was not interested, as I was not interested in sales. No administrative assistant jobs were available, so I'm not sure why they mentioned that on the phone. Several other people were frustrated that we wasted a drive and an hour and a half to be told that there were administrative jobs when none were available. I had read some reviews that mentioned the same thing, so I should have known going in to the interview that it was a sales pitch.
