It felt like a frustrating experience overall. The problems were ambiguous, the scope of work was unclear, and there was little direction provided during the interview. I had a preparation call with the recruiter, but the actual interview focused on completely different topics, which made the prep feel misleading. If expectations aren’t aligned beforehand, it raises concerns about communication and clarity within the team’s working style.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto
Interview
Phone screen by director. Followed by Online Tech Screen and Onsite. The process is quite smooth. People are really nice. They try to understand how you are approaching problem and follow up quickly if they really like yu. The only frustration is HR provides no feedback like all other companies. I would recommend anyone interested to apply at data science team. They are small team who are trying to keep pace with growth of the company and will be working on interesting challenges.
