Gusto Procurement interview questions

Applied and was contacted by HR the very next day. Had an initial phone interview with the HR recruiter. Said she would forward my resume onto the hiring manager. I didn't hear anything the following week until I pinged the recruiter. I then received an automated email that they would not be moving forward and absolutely no feedback would be provided. It was kind of a strange experience because I was told there are no "titles" in that company, and the hiring manager technically would not be my manager but yet was solely responsible for determining whether or not I would move forward. Whole experience was kind of odd. Honestly, feels like a dodged a bullet.
