HR contacted me first to discuss the role. Moving forward, they sent me a t-SQL document to review before my initial interview with 1 Sr. Level person. He asked more about my background & we discussed the document. That went well, so HR followed up with a t-SQL developer assessment composed of 3-4 questions. The time you take is taken under consideration. I was rushing through the test & neglected to TEST (& review) my questions before submitting. I realized my mistake as soon as I submitted my test. The questions weren't super hard but I still managed to make stupid mistakes. .. Even forgot to implement some best practices.. I totally 100% self-sabotaged my opportunity. Didn't get the job of course. Learn from my mistake cause this is supposed to be an awesome job
If you can manage to get past all that, you get invited to an in person interview where you are white boarded in your modeling skills & a few behavioral questions are asked.
The interview process is very long & drawn out & that's why I'm rating the interview as difficult (not because of the questions asked)
